  • MISSION

    The Faculty of Tax and Financial Administration is a public higher education institution in the service of our society, which generates, offers and facilitates education services; sponsors the generation, acquisition and promotion of knowledge as well as the development of research. It contributes to social development through the comprehensive formation of its students, favoring the capacities, abilities and competencies which allow them to show their talent in a world with no borders. It links knowledge and its services with the public, private and social sectors. It is a Faculty committed to knowledge as an essential competitiveness factor and to universal values such as: responsibility, justice, equality, solidarity, respect to the environment and ethics. It sustains its development through a continuous and permanent evaluation of its processes in order to guarantee its certification and accreditation before the corresponding organizations.

  • VISION

    The Faculty is recognized as one of the best higher education institutions in our university since it offers programs accredited for their quality and for their relevant and updated educational objectives, serving in this way a great proportion of students through flexible study programs as well as through the efficient use of institutional resources according to the framework of legality and transparency. Our students, professors and administrative staff are proud, committed and satisfied with their institution. Our graduates continue to be linked with their faculty and they are socially recognized for their professional performance, their values and their commitment to sustainability. Its professors and researches fulfill the requirements of educational programs, both in quantity and quality. They are organized in academies and academic bodies, establish collaboration networks and are distinguished by their level of training and formation in terms of strategies which facilitate and enrich both learning-teaching processes and research.

  • OBJECTIVES

    To arrange and continue with the necessary actions to provide professionals in the area of administration with the highest work qualification. This will be reflected in a higher productivity within the economic, social and entrepreneurial areas of our region and of our state. To increase the relevance of our degrees by providing our students with the necessary knowledge, abilities, tools and techniques for the attention of needs and future demands of our society. To adopt a self-learning education model as an element of continuous improvement in the learning-teaching equation. To ensure the quality of the education process through the academic certification of our full-time professors before the “CNCA” and the “ANFECA”, and, in the same way, to make our in-training academic body be recognized by the corresponding organizations. To obtain the institutional accreditation level of the Faculty of Tax and Financial Administration from the Teaching Accreditation Council of Accounting and Administration (“CACECA” by its initials in Spanish. To obtain the certification of this Faculty of Tax and Financial Administration from the interinstitutional committees for the assessment of higher education (“CIEES” by its initials in Spanish). To promote the institutional capacity to do research in the different fields of taxes and finance. In this aspect, our faculty will be distinguished by having a close link between professors, researchers, students, the productive sector and the society in general. To achieve the recognition of our master program from the corresponding evaluation institutions, which will allow our faculty to have the necessary impact and significance to contribute to the social welfare of our region and of our state.

  • HISTORY REVIEW

    It was born in the city of Torreón, Coahuila at 11:00 am on the 28th of October, 1983, where the corresponding university authorities, represented by Mr. Oscar Villegas Rico – President of the University –, authorized the beginning of work of the School of Administrative Sciences, by virtue of having fulfilled the necessary academic requirements.

    Professional with a theoretical-practical formation and a humanistic vision in the area of investments and public and private finance. They research on finance and business problems in terms of taxes. They design policies for the future formation of human and intellectual capital.     1.GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE ACADEMIC BODY.
    NAME OF THE BODY: “Multidisciplinary Taxation and Sustainability”.

    GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

    • To form professionals in the area of tax administration through quality academic programs at undergraduate and graduate level, feasible to be accredited by an organism recognized by the council for the accreditation of higher education (“COPAES”, “CACECA” and “CIEES” by their initials in Spanish).
    • To achieve academic leadership both in undergraduate and graduate education programs.
    • To promote a tax policy which internalizes the green economy and the sustainability.
