    In 1957, a group of engineers led by the engineer Jose Castaldi Yuriche began to do all the preparation to form a school of engineering in Monclova, based upon the plans and studies programs of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM).

  • MECHANICAL-ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

    They analyze and solve problems with the application of mechanics and electricity in diverse transformation processes.
    They generate and adapt technology, machines and tools and design systems and gadgets for the generation, conduction, distribution, control and application of energy in all its uses. Furthermore, they organize and control the systems integrated by men and machines using mathematical methods, engineering techniques and economy and administration principles.

  • MASTER IN METAL-MECHANIC ENGINEERING SCIENCES

    Objetivos del Programa.

    To form high-level human capital that incentives the innovation in productive processes of the metal-mechanical industry of the region.

    To strengthen the collaboration in research, technological development and innovation between the faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the metal-mechanic sector of the north-center region of Coahuila.

    To increase the capacity of the country to innovate and consolidate the intellectual capital in companies of the metal-mechanical industry. To optimize the joint use of the infrastructure and talent of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the North Unit and the companies served by the program for the development of innovation projects and transference of technology in the metal-mechanical industry.

    To develop in students the prospective analysis that will make synergy with investors and administrative personnel for the creation of small and medium-sized companies of the metal-mechanical area which impulse the economic development of the region.

    To impulse the materialization of industrial research projects.
